Draw keeps combined team in third place

Turan Asgarova got back to winning ways in the second match since she returned from childbirth and that win enabled the combined Lichfield and Burton team to draw with Rolls Royce A. The draw keeps them in third place. Turan had a 100 point rating advantage over her opponent and had to work hard for her win with no clear advantage after two and a half hours play.

John Staniforth, in his first season with Lichfield, has proved a very reliable performer whichever team he has played for and he drew his game on board 4, as did Ben Nevett-Farman. Mircea Mesesan lost his game.(Match played 5th March)
