Combined team stay top with narrow win

Lixchfield and Burton B team stay top of Division 2 with a 2.5 – 1.5 win over Belper C. For the monent they have a four point lead but have played two matches more than the nearest challenger. Anuska Ramawickrame and Joe Parker both win and John Hoddy’s draw on top board gave the combined team a win.

Belper E saw off Lichfield and Burton 3 with little trouble, winning 3.5 – 0.5. Connor Whetnall was one of the losers.
