Connor gains his first league win

Connor Whetnall gained his first league victory since returning to Lichfield after a break of several years, helping the combined Lichfield and Burton E team to draw their match with Belper F 2-2

The B team comprised of four Burton players defeated the combined C team which was comprised of four Lichfield players and it was the Burton squad which came out on top by 3.5 – 1.5. Matt Benfield on board four was a winner for the Lichfield four and Adam Routledge drew with John Hoddy. Mike Hoare and Brian Homewood lost on boards two and the three.

The same four Burton players, Hoddy, Smith, Ramawickrama and Monteanu defeated Rolls Royce D by 3-1
