Longbridge beaten but not bowed

Longbridge defaulted a board in a Division 5 match with Lichfield but their remaining players battled very hard before losing on all boards against higher rated home players. Albert Chacko on board one gained an advantage but did not find it easy to convert it to a win. Peter Rose may have been a touch lucky in his match on 2 and Stephen Shields on three was up against a promising beginner, holding on to win a long game.(Match played Sept 25th)
