Lichfield well beaten in top of the table battle

Lichfield’s 3A team were well beaten by a strong Tamworth team who take a two point lead at the top of the third division. The deficit was 3.5 – 0.5 with Lichfield’s only point earner coming from young Isaac Adams who played well to earn his second draw in the two league matches he has played.

Dylan Wright has impressed in club games earning a few notable scalps in friendly games and is thought to have an unofficial rating of around 1500. His opponent on his league debut was ranked over 1500 so he need not be depressed by his board three defeat.

Results are suddenly going the wrong way for current Ladder Board leader Albert Chacko who lost on board one while Maurizio Barravalle also lost on board three.(Match played 10th November)
